My website http://www.tbandu.co.uk (tubercolosis and you). was built with much toil and hardship. In 2000 I was diagnosed:

1. With tuberculosis, then:

2. MDR tuberculosis, then:

3. Atypical tuberculosis, then:

4. Was told part of my lung needed to be removed, then:

5. Found out disease was in both lungs, then:

6. Found out disease had gone too far!!!!!!

I was very frightened and afraid. I was very ill with medication side effects. 20 tabs per day.

I could not find information on the internet that could be understood by a lay person.

After much research I sought a second opinion, then third opinion from two doctors in two seperate cities.

My hunch was right, I had been misidiagnosed. I did not have tb or mdr tb or atypical tb. I did not have any sort of tb!.
